About

A coastal practice built around the audit file

Fieldmark Financial Review grew from engagement work across western Japan: March year-ends, inventory counts in regional warehouses, and management letters that boards actually read.

Why we exist

Companies outside the largest metro centres still need auditors who will sit with the trial balance, walk the warehouse floor, and explain sampling choices without jargon. We formed Fieldmark Financial Review to keep that craft local while meeting the reporting standards Japanese companies and their overseas parents expect.

How we approach the work

We plan risk before we pull samples. We prefer fewer, better-documented tests over long checklists that never touch the real pressure points — revenue cut-off, inventory existence, related-party disclosure, and estimate uncertainty. Findings are ranked so remediation has a sequence.

Relationship to clients

Independence is not a slogan on our letterhead. We decline bookkeeping, tax advocacy, and implementation work that would impair objectivity on the same entity. When we recommend a remediation, your team owns the fix; we re-test later if you commission follow-up procedures.
